A GOOD WARM UP IS KEY!!!

A good warm up aids in:

  • Preparing your body for aerobic activity,

  • It gradually revs up your cardiovascular system by raising your body temperature and increasing blood flow to your muscles,

  • Helping reduce muscle soreness and lessen your risk of injury,

  • Helping you to mentally prepare.

Once you find a warm up routine that works, repeat it as habitually as possible.

INTRODUCING THE GRIP 'N' RIP DISC

There are times when you won’t have the opportunity to throw discs at medium to maximum distances, prior to the days play. Or there may not be a driving range available prior to a tournament. This is where the Grip ‘n’ Rip (GNR) disc is an advantage.

GNR disc is a stand still (static stance) warm up implement used by disc golfers to warm up their muscle groups, related directly to disc golf. Golfers hold the GNR disc just like they would a regular golf disc, and then go through their normal throwing motion or routine. The grip plus the GNR disc towel provides resistance to really work those muscle groups safely. Adding more towels provides more resistance.

Going through your normal shot routine vigorously, with no resistance at all, could lead to unnecessary stress on tendons, ligaments, and joints in your shoulder, elbow, and wrist.

MICROFIBRE SUEDE TOWEL

The GNR towels absorb up to 4 times their weight and are as durable as they are compact. The GNR towel is the ideal towel for drying off your wet discs and can be wrung out almost completely dry. Use the snap towel clasp to attach to your bag or belt, or you can keep the GNRp towel in your pocket for easy continuous access.

Towel comes with mesh draw string storage pouch. Which can double as a handy little pouch for containing things in your bag, such as a mobile phone, pencils, or general swag.

LEAVING A SMALLER FOOTPRINT*

The recycling of imperfect discs is a big factor in the production of the Grip 'n' Rip disc. Each GNR disc is hand made in New Zealand, and made from golf discs that don’t quite meet the 100% standard requirements of the manufacturer. And therefore don’t make it to suppliers shelves for sale. We turn imperfect discs into the perfect warm up tool.

* Grip ‘n’ Rip Discs are created using factory second discs.  Taking this into account, you may see small blemishes on your Grip ‘n’ Rip Discs. Don’t fret. This means that they are one of a kind, and not like any other. Grip ‘n’ Rip Discs doesn’t play favourites with disc golf disc manufacturers.
